Hello fellow travelers, my name is Alex also known as Nighthawk to those of you who are familiar with my art. This is the first time I have ever done /written a blog and am still learning the ropes as it were. To start with it took me a while to get the right focus for my challenge and then put it all into words.
Being consider instead, I am a wildlife western and portrait artist by trade and a recent consciousness shifting graduate student.
So for my challenge I wanted to combine consciousness shifting Art and money together into a teleclass, with the help of my mentor/founder of the consciousness shifting method Dr Karen Vizer.
Why consciousness shifting and What is this method you might ask. What dose Art in this case and Money have to do with it?
What is Consciousness Shifting?

Why Consciousness shifting?
For one it is the easiest and most complete method I have found that really works, and I can tell you I have tried just about everything there was to be found to break free of my limiting beliefs, on the Internet or off.
So often I am amazed at the changes in myself when I pause for a moment to look back. The shifts can go so deep yet are so subtle it can leave you a little light headed, giving the feeling that you are a little out of balance in fact it’s not that you are out of balance, it’s more like you have been leaning into the wind for so long that you had not noticed that it had stopped blowing and you can finally stop struggling and walk straight, move forward freely with ease. They also feel so yummy a natural part of you.
It feels like waking up from a long sleep in a cramped dark hole of my own making and stepped out into a sun drenched meadow, filled with life, beauty, love, joy, wealth, health, freedom all around me. In the process of rediscovering myself, finding out that we are all truly connected. Beginnings of light energy with the awesome power that with our thoughts we can create anything we could wish for in our life and in our world. We get to choose and create the yummiest life we can imagine. Even the skeptics among you will be amazed, it will change your life as it has and still is changing mine.
What dose this have to do with Art and Money?
As you know I’m an artist myself and have often hit what felt like a brick wall, where people, art and money are discussed in the same concept. For example the Starving artist syndrome as I have begun to call it. In The collective consciousness there seems to be this thought pattern that artists and wealth (money) do not mix or go together.
That to be a good artist you must be starving, or only get recognition when your dead. That an artist must struggle endlessly for recognition and get paid even less since we do art out of love not profit. There is only very few living artists that receive wealth through their art in the present era. The beliefs such as (get a real job) (you can’t make a living doing art) then there is the reaction of people who are interested in baying art (it’s too expensive) or think it’s normal to bargain with the artist, to go down with their price as though your on a flee market and thus devaluate the art and artists that it’s normal to expect peanuts for their hours of work, but don’t think twice to pay fifty to a seventy dollars an hour for a plumber or house painter for the same amount of work. Plus that artist them selves have bought into this thought pattern of poverty.
This is what I am aiming to change with consciousness shifting.
